Reinhold Niebuhr.
Karl Paul Reinhold Niebuhr (Wright City, Misuri, 1892 - Stockbridge, 1971) fue un teólogo y politólogo estadounidense. Como politólogo está considerado uno de los principales representantes teóricos del llamado realismo político estadounidense junto con Hans Morgenthau. A él se le atribuye la plegaria de la Serenidad. Demostró la unión entre el liberalismo político y la teología bíblica e insistió en el pecado original, en el juicio de Dios y en los contactos entre Dios y el ser humano.
